Vondom outdoor sofas: modular or fixed design garden sofa sets
The outdoor sofa, or garden sofa, is the centrepiece of an outdoor lounge, designed to structure a residential lounge area, a hotel rooftop or a beach club. The Vondom selection brings together fixed and modular garden furniture designed by renowned designers, including Ramón Esteve and Ross Lovegrove, so you can compose a made-to-measure design outdoor sofa suited to the actual layout of each terrace.
A Vondom sofa in a much wider range of materials than you might think
Contrary to popular belief, an outdoor sofa is not limited to a single material. One-piece frames in rotomoulded polyethylene or polypropylene offer sculptural lines and a wide range of colours, with no fear of water or UV. Powder-coated aluminium, more rigid, forms the frame of models with a more architectural look, dressed with removable cushions. Finally, sofas with generous, enveloping seats often rest on an internal structure of cold-injected polyurethane over a metal core, covered with a removable fabric: a process that brings the comfort closer to that of a classic indoor sofa, while keeping a resistance designed for outdoor use.
The modular Vondom sofa, to compose according to your space
A modular garden sofa is made up of straight, corner and centre modules that combine freely, to create a lounge set in a straight line, an L shape or a U shape depending on the layout of a terrace. This flexibility lets you adjust seating capacity over the seasons, without having to replace all the furniture.
Vondom outdoor sofas with synchronisable LED lighting
Several outdoor sofas are available in an LED version, with lighting that is controlled remotely and coordinates with the other light up pieces in the same collection, for a lounge area that remains a visual focal point once night falls.
Vondom covers and cushions designed for intensive use
On fabric-covered models, the covers are generally removable and washable, an advantage for maintaining a garden sofa used by the public. The outdoor fabrics used resist stains, chlorine and humidity, and dry quickly after an occasional shower.
Creating a complete Vondom lounge area
For a complete design outdoor lounge, a sofa pairs naturally with a Vondom armchair to complete the seating, a Vondom pouf for an extra seat, a Vondom coffee table for drinks and accessories, or Vondom lamps to extend the atmosphere into the evening. The modular sofas are also found in the Vondom garden lounge sets, and those in the Vela range can shelter under a Vondom pergola. Everything belongs to the Vondom outdoor furniture collection, which brings together the Spanish manufacturer's entire catalogue, delivered by Verano Design to eleven European countries.
