Vondom garden armchairs: design outdoor armchairs for terrace and garden
The garden armchair is the piece that completes an outdoor lounge without taking up all the space, as relevant on its own on a balcony or a terrace as paired with a sofa to create a complete lounge corner. The Vondom selection brings together armchairs by renowned designers, including Karim Rashid and Stefano Giovannoni, available in a variety of materials, to suit a residential garden as well as a restaurant terrace or a hotel lounge.
A Vondom armchair: which material to choose for the intended use?
The best garden armchair depends above all on its material. One-piece frames in polypropylene offer sculptural lines and a wide range of colours, with no fear of water or UV. Powder-coated aluminium, with slimmer lines, resists corrosion without requiring any particular maintenance. Wood, for its part, brings natural warmth and develops a grey patina over time under the effect of UV, with no consequence for its strength.
The Vondom lounge chair with synchronisable LED lighting
Several armchairs are available in an LED version, with lighting that is controlled remotely and coordinates with the other light up pieces in the same collection, for an outdoor space that remains a visual focal point once night falls.
Vondom cushions and covers designed for intensive use
The seat and back cushions, available as an option on several models, use stain-resistant, water-repellent outdoor fabrics that are UV-resistant and withstand humidity. On fabric-covered models, the covers are generally removable and washable, an advantage for maintaining an armchair used by the public.
Creating a complete Vondom lounge area
For a complete outdoor lounge, a garden armchair pairs naturally with a Vondom sofa to complete the seating, a Vondom pouf as a footstool or extra seat, a Vondom coffee table for drinks and accessories, or Vondom lamps to extend the atmosphere into the evening. Several armchairs from the same range also form the basis of a Vondom garden lounge set. Everything belongs to the Vondom outdoor furniture collection, which brings together the Spanish manufacturer's entire catalogue, delivered by Verano Design to eleven European countries.
