The Suave fabric garden armchair: bringing the indoors outside

This fabric garden armchair embodies Marcel Wanders' founding idea for the Vondom Suave collection: to remove the boundary between the comfort of an indoor living room and the usual constraints of outdoor furniture. Its enveloping silhouette, with generous curves, seems to come straight from a loft rather than a garden catalogue.

Five years of research for a new sensation

This armchair is the result of five years of collaboration between the Wanders studio and Vondom, a rare length of time in the furniture industry that made it possible to develop a new polyurethane injection moulding process. The result: a material offering a level of softness and enclosure rarely achieved in a piece designed to stay outdoors all year round.

Comfort that stands the test of time

The injected polyurethane memory foam keeps its shape despite intensive use, while the fabric covering it resists chlorine, UV and humidity without ever losing its soft feel. A piece designed to be as inviting after three summers as on the first day.
