Vondom Africa Collection

The essence of design sometimes lies in absolute purity, where form meets function without unnecessary artifice. It is in this spirit that Ibiza-born designer Eugeni Quitllet created the Vondom Africa collection, a furniture series with a clear philosophy: the simplest things are often the most original. Designed to bring people together and create a true "tribe", this line blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors with a fluid, welcoming aesthetic. It embodies a contemporary vision where the natural beauty of the lines meets flawless engineering, turning every terrace or living room into a warm, convivial space.

The organic ergonomics of the Africa range by Eugeni Quitllet

At the heart of this product family is a determined respect for the human body. Whether in the signature chair, the generous armchair or the high stool for bars and counters, each piece follows the curves of the body with remarkable softness. Though visually light, the design relies on a robust structure born of advanced industrial know-how, notably glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene injection moulding. This technique produces airy silhouettes while ensuring strong resistance to weather and UV rays. The stool, a vertical extension of the original chair, keeps the same discreet elegance while offering a raised seat well suited to informal moments together.

From the Africa sun lounger to the Africa sofa: an invitation to relax

The collection has grown to cover every aspect of outdoor comfort. The Africa sofa, available in 2 seater and 3 seater versions, offers an enveloping experience with its soft lines and generous cushions, inviting you to share the pleasures of outdoor living. For moments of complete relaxation by the water, the Africa sun lounger stands out for its formal simplicity and carefully studied ergonomics. Fitted with discreet wheels, it lets you follow the sun with ease, giving you full flexibility in arranging your pool area. The upholstered versions of the armchairs add a further sensory dimension, bringing the warmth of fabric to the robustness of the iconic structure and allowing a smooth transition between the garden and the indoor living room.

To create a harmonious setting that extends this organic, Mediterranean aesthetic, you can pair these seats with the sensual curves of the Vondom Ibiza collection, also designed by Quitllet, or with the fluid lines of the Vondom Love, Vondom Bum Bum, Vondom Manta and Vondom Tulum ranges. If you are looking for structural balance in your dining areas, the tables in the Vondom Mari-Sol series work perfectly with the Africa chairs, while a more urban, geometric contrast can be achieved by adding pieces from Vondom Brooklyn, Vondom Wall Street or Hidra. Finally, to complete the atmosphere with touches of light or greenery, the Vondom Bloom and Vondom Madison accessories fit naturally into the ensemble, reflecting the excellence of Vondom outdoor furniture.
