Africa Chair (set of 4): simplicity as Eugeni Quitllet's signature

Around the outdoor tables of the restaurants and hotels furnished by Verano Design, the Africa chair brings several guests together under one clean silhouette, delivered as a set of four so you can furnish an entire dining room quickly.

A piece designed by Eugeni Quitllet

Eugeni Quitllet, a Catalan designer born in Ibiza and trained at La Llotja school in Barcelona, conceived the Africa collection as furniture made to gather his tribe of loved ones. Each chair follows the natural curve of the body, for comfort that gives nothing away to the timeless elegance of its lines, season after season.

Built for intensive outdoor service

Being stackable, it frees up valuable storage space between services or out of season, a real advantage for venues that serve a large number of covers. Injection moulded in glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, it is unaffected by UV: its colour does not fade, unlike a painted finish that chips over time. Its frost resistance allows it to stay outdoors all year round, and its fire resistance, certified UNE EN 1021, IMO A.652 and UNI 9175, meets the safety requirements of venues open to the public, often a decisive criterion when buying contract furniture. A quick wipe with a sponge is enough to keep it looking its best, and it is available in several colours to match all the furniture in the Vondom Africa collection, from the bar stool to the modular sofa.
