Africa lounge chair: textile comfort by Eugeni Quitllet

By the water or in the shade of a terrace, the Africa armchair creates a relaxation corner in the homes and venues that Verano Design works with. Its silhouette echoes the clean lines Eugeni Quitllet gave the whole range, designed to bring people together rather than dominate.

A piece by Eugeni Quitllet

Originally from Ibiza, Quitllet favours a design that focuses on the essentials: few lines, plenty of comfort. The Africa armchair is its lounge version, with integrated armrests and a wide seat, complemented if needed by an optional fabric back for a more enveloping look and an extra touch of colour, chosen from several available shades.

Upholstery designed for intensive poolside use

The fabric covering the seat is chlorine-resistant and dries quickly, so you can sit down straight after a swim without worrying about marks. Stain-resistant and mould-resistant, it keeps its clean appearance despite repeated use all day long, in high season and low season alike. As for the structure, the reinforced polypropylene shrugs off UV and temperature swings, winter and summer. The fabric and the frame share the same fire ratings required in public venues, a point that professional buyers always check before ordering. This armchair naturally complements the Vondom Africa collection, alongside the bar stool and the modular sofa.
