Description

Africa Cosy Chair: Eugeni Quitllet's enveloping comfort

Somewhere between the outdoor lounge and the coffee table, the Africa Cosy chair takes a hybrid place: comfortable enough to linger in, compact enough to fit into an informal dining corner. Its seat is 51 cm above the ground. To go with a coffee table, the Low version drops to 41 cm.

Extra comfort without giving up the original silhouette

Quitllet kept the original structure of the Africa collection and simply wrapped it in generous padding, turning an already popular seat into a true lounge chair. The result keeps the balanced proportions that made the range a success, while gaining softness and visual warmth.

A fabric designed for poolside use

Chlorine-resistant and water-repellent, the seat fabric withstands the constant comings and goings of guests to and from the pool without ever losing its neat appearance. Its high density resists the abrasion of daily use in restaurants and hotels, and its quick drying limits the time the furniture is out of use. The reinforced polypropylene structure keeps its colour under prolonged sunshine and, like the fabric, meets the fire resistance standards required in venues open to the public. This chair completes the Vondom Africa collection alongside the range's modular sofa and lounge chair.
