Africa 2 Seater Sofa: the lounge spirit of a collection that keeps growing

A rooftop, a hotel lobby, a restaurant terrace: the Africa sofa creates a two-person gathering point in these spaces, in keeping with the furniture Verano Design has already supplied for them.

A piece that continues Eugeni Quitllet's story

After the success of the Africa armchair, Eugeni Quitllet grew the range piece by piece up to this sofa, designed to seat two people without losing the clean line of the original. As much a sculptor as a designer, the Catalan works volumes as solid and empty masses, an approach reflected in the sofa's enveloping backrest and the continuous flow of its armrests.

A seat built to go the distance

The ultra-dense upholstery fabric resists the wear of intensive daily traffic on a rooftop or in a lobby, while being chlorine-resistant for venues with a pool area. Stain-resistant and quick-drying, it limits maintenance even in the peak tourist season. The reinforced polypropylene structure withstands UV without losing its colour and, like the fabric, meets the fire resistance standards required in venues open to the public, a standard point to check before placing a professional order. This sofa is part of the Vondom Africa collection, alongside the range's armchair and upholstered chairs, for a consistent look across the whole lounge area.
