Elegance sets sail

When MSC Cruises conceived its new flagship, the MSC World Europa, the challenge was clear. The aim was to create an on-board experience worthy of the greatest Mediterranean destinations. To dress The Lanai deck, the liner's central entertainment space, the studio put its trust in the Vondom signature and the The Factory collection by Ramón Esteve.

Modular sofas, armchairs and coffee tables: every piece was designed to combine generous comfort with resistance to the demands of the open sea. Proof that premium outdoor design has every place in the world of contemporary cruising.

The Lanai, a setting for Vondom furniture

The Lanai deck welcomes passengers into an atmosphere where straight lines converse with the ship's architectural volumes. The The Factory collection deploys its minimalist language here: bold silhouettes, ample proportions and comfort calibrated for long hours at sea.

Made of aluminium in Vondom's workshops, these pieces withstand the toughest conditions for outdoor furniture, whether sea spray, wind or sun, without compromising on elegance. The Spanish house proves once again that a technical material can become a vehicle for refinement.

A harmony born of design

The dialogue between the Vondom furniture and the architecture of The Lanai is striking. The lit lines of the deck find a natural echo in the clean geometry of the modular sofas and armchairs. Nothing is left to chance: every seat fits into the ship's visual grammar.

Ramón Esteve designed The Factory as an adaptable collection, able to orchestrate spaces as demanding as a cruise deck. The result is total aesthetic consistency between object and context, from the design of the coffee table to the overall perspective.

A ship conceived as a destination

The MSC World Europa is not simply a liner, it is a genuine floating destination. With 2,626 cabins spread across six categories, 13 restaurants, 20 bars, lounges and cafés and a capacity of 6,762 passengers, the ship concentrates the Mediterranean art of living on just a few decks.

Every decorative detail was selected to bring sophistication and comfort to all the spaces. The choice of Vondom to dress The Lanai is part of this ambition: to offer passengers an exceptional experience, in which the furniture becomes a player in the voyage.

When design accompanies the adventure

From the modular sofa to the lounge armchair, including the coffee tables, the The Factory collection shows that outdoor furniture can reach the highest standards of luxury hospitality. On the deck of the MSC World Europa, the Vondom pieces contribute to a vision of elegance and comfort that turns the crossing into an unforgettable memory.

One signature, one collection, one ship, and proof that Spanish design continues to write the finest pages of international contract furniture.
