The first five-star hotel in Formentera
This singular hotel is located on the island of Formentera, very close to Es Pujols beach. Its singularity comes down to a remarkable fact: it is the first and only 5-star hotel built on the island. A hippie-style establishment, inspired by the 1960s and 70s, where the flower power spirit proves particularly contagious.
The project owes its character to the interior architects Miguel Escolano and Samuel Fernández Larcher, who created warm, comfortable and contemporary spaces, with elegant and original decor in every room. Vondom outdoor furniture underlines the unique, avant-garde character of this exceptional hotel.

79 rooms and suites facing the sea
The hotel has a total of 79 rooms, split into six different categories, as well as suites with sea views. The rooms on the upper floors have four-poster canopies, a jacuzzi, private terraces and Vondom reception furniture.
This move upmarket on an island long known for its relaxed authenticity reflects an evolution in tourism in Formentera. The challenge of the project: to bring five-star comfort without betraying the island's free, bohemian spirit.

Biophilia by Ross Lovegrove, nature in the background
In each room with a private terrace, the armchairs from the Biophilia collection, designed by Ross Lovegrove, are paired with Mari-Sol tables by Eugeni Quitllet. A combination that guarantees guests the most comfortable and exclusive environment.
The choice of Biophilia is no accident for a hotel named Five Flowers. Lovegrove's collection, inspired by the organic structures of living things, echoes the flower power spirit of the place. The Welsh designer, known for his biomorphic approach, creates seating here whose lines evoke natural growth.

Vela and Ulm, the ideal rest around the pool
The daybeds from the Vela collection, designed by Ramón Esteve, were selected by the interior architects as the idyllic outdoor furniture for relaxing and sheltering from the sun around the pool. Alongside them, the Ulm daybeds by the same designer complete the scheme.
These two Esteve collections, with their architectural silhouettes, structure the pool area into sheltered islands of rest. Their sobriety contrasts with the organic exuberance of Biophilia, creating a subtle balance between the spaces.

A playful hotel with remarkable design
The Five Flowers is a playful hotel with a unique and remarkable design, where maximum comfort is a requirement. Four Vondom collections form a score in which the organic answers the architectural, the bohemian the sophisticated.
With this project, Vondom accompanies a historic first: Formentera's entry into the league of five-star destinations. The brand shows its ability to serve very distinctive hotel concepts, here hippie chic, without ever giving up the standard of quality and durability that is its signature.
