Archirivolto Design: industrial design and architecture studio

Founded in 1983 by Claudio Dondoli (born 1954) and Marco Pocci (born 1953) as a studio for industrial design, product design and architecture, Archirivolto grew out of a friendship formed while the two were studying architecture in Florence, where the founders and a few friends had first set up an experimental theatre company. That theatrical background still shapes the studio's creative identity, marked by a sense of reality and close attention to the audience.

Plastic as an "essential material"

For Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci, defining plastic is like defining something as essential as bread and water: a flexible, inspiring material that lets them create what they want, the way they want, made by man and yet close to nature, and today 100% recyclable. They cannot settle on a single colour: they say they need the whole spectrum to live, but if they had to keep only one, it would be white, for its purity. True to their Italian roots, they celebrate each new Vondom collection with a good bottle of wine.

Collections designed by Archirivolto Design for Vondom

For Vondom, Archirivolto Design created the Vondom Pezzettina collection, with organic forms inspired by nature, as well as the Vondom Spritz collection. The studio also designed the Vondom Fiesta Bar modular bar counter system, conceived in a resolutely festive spirit for outdoor service areas.
