In contemporary furniture, the balance between visual softness and structural rigour is a difficult art to master. Yet this is exactly what the Vondom Kes collection achieves, a range that stands out for its clean aesthetic and flawless functionality. Designed to inhabit space without ever cluttering it, this furniture series embodies what could be called radical simplicity, where every curve and every line has its own reason to exist. It is aimed at design lovers looking for a calming atmosphere, where the superfluous gives way to the essential.
Unlimited modularity with the Kes sofa
The heart of this design proposition is undoubtedly its modular sofa system. The designers' first aim was to break the rigidity of traditional layouts and offer complete freedom of composition. Thanks to intelligent design, the different modules fit together into endless configurations. You can create a long linear sofa to structure a terrace, or compose large relaxation islands for a convivial outdoor lounge.
The pieces, whether chaise longues, left modules or angular poufs, come together with natural fluidity. This flexibility lets you adapt the furniture to the constraints of your architecture and also find the most comfortable position. The sofa becomes a moving piece, able to evolve with your needs, turning your garden or interior into a lively, welcoming space.
The architectural approach of the Kes chair and its companions
Behind this apparent simplicity lies the technical and artistic expertise of the Buratti + Battiston Architects studio. Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, drawing on their experience in industrial design and architecture for prestigious brands such as Lamborghini and BMW, explore here the complex relationship between simplicity and sophistication. The range's chair, available with or without arms, illustrates this intellectual approach perfectly. It offers an essential silhouette, soft to the eye but remarkably robust in its construction.
The collection is completed by planters with equally clean lines, letting you bring greenery directly into the structure of your layout. Made from high-performance materials, this furniture features a carefully applied matt finish and outstanding weather resistance, making it well suited both to private residential use and to demanding commercial spaces. It is an invitation to rethink the outdoor space as a seamless extension of the home.
