The Ibiza chair, craftsmanship rethought by Eugeni Quitllet

Eugeni Quitllet drew on the handmade cane chairs of his childhood in Ibiza to design this chair, the first piece of the Vondom Ibiza collection, which combines tradition and modernity for simple, versatile everyday use.

Without arms, with tube arms or with wing arms

The Ibiza chair comes in three versions that share the same slatted backrest and the same 45 cm seat height. The tube armrests, slim and open, offer extra support during a long meal without making the silhouette heavier. The wing armrests, solid and sculpted, wrap further around the seat. The three versions can be freely combined around the same table.

A material born from the sea

This chair is part of the very first Vondom Revolution collection: its material comes from plastics recovered from the Mediterranean Sea and then recycled, an approach Quitllet sums up as follows: "all ideas come from light and the sea, like life".

A structure built for intensive commercial use

The injection-moulded polypropylene, reinforced with fibreglass, resists fire, UV and continuous exposure to light without fading. Stackable and impact-resistant, this chair takes heavy daily use, from lunch service to dinner.
