In Italy, a library has chosen Vondom design furniture for its communal spaces. The result is a warm, colourful place where contemporary furniture becomes one more reason to walk through the door, beyond the pleasure of books.
The project plays on a soft palette dominated by pistachio and white, which gives the spaces an immediate personality and a welcoming feel.

Africa and Mari-Sol in the communal areas
The furniture in the shared areas is contract style: Mari-Sol tables and armchairs from the Africa collection, designed by Eugeni Quitllet, sit together naturally. Their clean silhouettes suit reading and conversation alike.
Frame and Solid, the pistachio and white duo
There are also the new tables from the Frame collection by Ramón Esteve, paired with chairs from the Solid collection by the designers Stefano Giovannoni and Elisa Gargan. The contrast between pistachio and white brings the space character and softness.

The computer room, signed Wing
Elsewhere, the computer room gains character and energy with chairs from the Wing collection, designed by A-Cero. Their futuristic style catches the eye, with curved lines and striking undulations.

A reading corner around the Ulm daybed
The reading area offers book lovers the outdoor daybed from the Ulm collection, by Ramón Esteve. This comfortable piece makes the reading corner far more enjoyable and invites you to prolong your break between books.

When furniture makes you want to stay
By combining varied collections around a coherent palette, this project makes furniture a full part of the library experience. Dynamic design becomes, alongside good books, one more invitation to come and stay.
