A balcony over the Aegean Sea
On the island of Mykonos, the Lovia occupies one of those rare locations that justify the trip all by themselves. Perched facing the Aegean Sea, the hotel unfolds a panorama as far as the eye can see, captured from the infinity pool that visually extends the horizon.
In this setting where the landscape rules, the choice of outdoor furniture is not a detail: it is a statement. The Lovia team selected Vondom's Milos collection, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, to orchestrate this sensitive staging.

Milos, the collection by Jean-Marie Massaud
The Milos collection, born from the pencil of Jean-Marie Massaud, finds an almost obvious expression in Mykonos. Its soft lines, generous volumes and organic language match the island spirit with a naturalness that seems to flow of its own accord.
Sun loungers and daybeds form a sculptural alphabet that defines the pool area without ever stifling it. Each piece is designed as an invitation to rest, but also as a silhouette that engages with the rock, the light and the deep blue of the sea.

A desert palette in perfect harmony
The project's colour choice is a lesson in restraint. The Crema 5036 aluminium answers the Glad Desert 1033 fabrics, in a composition of sand and shell tones that blend into the Cycladic landscape. No colour distracts the eye; everything is calibrated to let nature take centre stage.
This desert palette allows the Milos pieces to play a subtle mediating role between the hotel and its site. More than furniture, this is a true tool for landscape staging.

The detail that makes all the difference
The elegance of Milos also lies in its details. The iroko wood legs introduce a warm, tactile note that subtly contrasts with the coolness of the aluminium. This material detail, almost artisanal, marks the contemporary identity of the collection.
Iroko, a noble and weather-resistant wood, brings the extra soul found in the best hotel schemes. A living material that will develop a patina over the seasons without losing any of its character.

A promise of longevity in the face of the elements
Beyond the design, the Milos collection meets the specific climate demands of the Cyclades. Intense UV, sea winds, salinity: the materials chosen by Vondom guarantee everyday resistance without giving anything up on comfort.
For an establishment of the quality of Lovia Mykonos, this silent longevity is a major asset. The pieces keep their lustre season after season, protecting the initial investment while ensuring a consistent guest experience.

Experiencing Mykonos differently
Stretched out on a Milos daybed, a book open, a cool drink within reach, your gaze caught by the line of the horizon: Lovia Mykonos reinvents the art of outdoor luxury. An experience where comfort is not endured but forgotten.
By designing the outdoor staging of this establishment, Vondom reminds us that a great hotel is also about those suspended moments when you stop looking at the time. A simple promise, but one that takes the best design to keep.
