Vondom tables: designer garden tables and outdoor dining tables
The garden table is the centrepiece of an outdoor dining room, designed to bring people together around a meal on a terrace, a rooftop or in a restaurant garden. Our Vondom table selection brings together designer outdoor dining tables signed by renowned designers, including Ramón Esteve and Ora Ïto, available in a wide range of formats and materials, to suit residential use as well as hospitality venues (hotels, restaurants and cafés) that need to renew their furniture regularly.
Choosing a Vondom table: which material for which use?
The best outdoor table depends above all on its material. Single-piece structures in rotomoulded polyethylene offer sculptural lines and a wide palette of colours, with no fear of water or UV. Wooden garden tables bring natural warmth and, over time, develop a grey patina under UV, with no effect on their strength. Aluminium garden tables, more rigid, suit architectural aesthetics, while the toughened top of glass garden tables adds a visual lightness that softens an otherwise massive composition.
Vondom tabletops designed for intensive professional use
Beyond the frame, the choice of tabletop directly affects everyday resistance. The HPL Solid Core tabletop, a composite of cellulose and compressed phenolic resins, resists scratches, thermal shock and common cleaning products, making it the most robust option for high-traffic restaurant terraces. Some tabletops also come in a stone-effect or wood-effect finish, which visually reproduce these noble materials while keeping the easy maintenance of a laminate surface, without the seasonal constraints of solid wood or the weight of natural stone.
A Vondom outdoor table: a shape and capacity for every gathering
A garden table is chosen first according to the number of guests: from the small garden table for 2 for an intimate corner to the large 12 seater garden table for an event, by way of intermediate sizes such as the 4 seater garden table, the 6 seater garden table, the 8 seater outdoor dining table and the 10 seater garden table. Shape also plays a part in use: a round garden table encourages conversation and circulation, a square garden table structures a restricted space, while a rectangular garden table remains the benchmark for long, aligned gatherings.
The Vondom bistro table, designed for hospitality
For café and restaurant terraces, the outdoor bistro table meets a constraint specific to the hospitality sector: seating as many covers as possible on a small floor area. Compact and often available as a round bistro table or a square bistro table, it favours density and easy replication across a room rather than the comfort of a large family gathering.
Vondom tables with synchronised LED lighting
Several tables are available in an LED version, with lighting that can be controlled remotely and coordinated with the other light up pieces in the same collection, for an outdoor dining room that remains a visual focal point once night falls.
Creating a complete Vondom dining area
For a complete outdoor dining room, a Vondom dining table pairs naturally with Vondom chairs to create a coherent set, or with a Vondom coffee table to extend the space towards a lounge corner. Everything belongs to the Vondom Outdoor Furniture collection, which brings together the Spanish manufacturer's entire catalogue, delivered by Verano Design to eleven European countries.
