Santorini, the ideal setting for contemporary design
On the island of Santorini, jewel of the Cyclades, the Apricus Suites Perussa hotel illustrates a successful meeting of traditional island architecture and contemporary design. Beige walls, Mediterranean arches, a mineral palette that reveals the understated elegance of the country.
The Decostore Zorzos team was responsible for the artistic direction of the project, selecting several Vondom collections to dress the shared spaces. A confident modernity, in dialogue with the local architectural heritage without ever competing with it.

Eugeni Quitllet, the dominant signature of the project
Around the pool, three collections by Eugeni Quitllet complete the scheme. A rare coherence that lets the eye travel freely from one area to the next without any stylistic break. The Madrid studio clearly preferred the single signature of one designer to a catalogue effect.
This curated discipline shows a fine understanding of the Quitllet language: a clean line, generous proportions, an openly Mediterranean signature. Everything the Santorini site asks of outdoor furniture so that it can exist without intruding.

Ibiza and Spritz around the pool
First act: the sun loungers from the Ibiza collection, designed by Quitllet, whose Mediterranean design invites relaxation under the Greek sun. Their linear silhouette and comfort immediately meet the brief of an island hotel.
To accompany them, the side tables of the Spritz sun loungers by Archirivolto Design add a fresh, elegant touch. With their ecru finish, they complete the scene without breaking the overall palette.
Africa, the novelty acclaimed at the Salone del Mobile
The lounge armchairs from the Africa collection, another creation by Eugeni Quitllet, take pride of place in the project. Presented as a novelty at the Salone del Mobile 2022, they have since confirmed their commercial success thanks to an instantly identifiable design.
Their soft curves, sensual volume and superior comfort make them the ideal companion for outdoor dinners. Paired with the Mari-Sol tables, also designed by Quitllet, they form a set of great formal coherence.

The porch, a shady refuge beneath the arches
Strategically placed behind the pool, under a sheltered porch, another corner reveals itself: Africa chairs and matching stools, along with another set of Mari-Sol tables. This arrangement serves as a refuge from the sun during the hottest hours.
Beyond its protective function, the porch becomes a fully fledged usable space, ideal for extended breaks. A subtle way of doubling the capacity of the outdoor space without stifling the overall impression.

Wing by A-Cero, the accent in the suites with jacuzzi
In the premium suites with private jacuzzis, the accent comes from the low stools from the Wing collection, designed by A-Cero. Their minimalist design introduces a variation in the visual vocabulary without breaking the unity of the project.
This choice illustrates an implicit rule of large hotel projects: keep a dominant signature in the public spaces, and allow a few variations in the private areas. A way of enriching the guest experience at the scale of the rooms and suites.

A haven of wonder, more than a hotel
Apricus Suites Perussa illustrates how architecture, design and outdoor furniture can together create a truly unique space. The establishment goes beyond the simple function of accommodation to become a haven, a place where every detail has been considered to exceed expectations.
Surrounded by the incomparable beauty of Santorini, the hotel stands out as the destination of choice for those who want to see contemporary design in dialogue with an exceptional architectural heritage. Vondom plays the role of informed industrial partner there, able to supply a unified outdoor signature to a large-scale project.
