In the very heart of Barcelona, a stone's throw from Plaça de Catalunya, the Pau Hotel occupies the former offices of Caixa Catalunya. Designed by Teresa Sapey with the collaboration of the architects Xavier Alba and Txolo Farje, it brings together sixty-six rooms, including three suites, in a resolutely urban style.
A major renovation
The building underwent a complete renovation, a deep structural overhaul covering more than three thousand five hundred square metres. Of its administrative past, only a shell remains, entirely rethought for contemporary hospitality.

Vondom designer pieces
For the outdoor areas, the Vondom collections turn the hotel into a magical place steeped in design, pleasure and exclusivity: the Stones pieces by Stefano Giovannoni and Elisa Gargan, the Lava collection by Karim Rashid, and the creations of Teresa Sapey, Adan and Chemistubes.

A dialogue of signatures
The strength of the project lies in this meeting of signatures: the playful roundness of Stones, the organic fluidity of Lava, and the highly recognisable colourful vocabulary of Adan and Chemistubes. Four collections that answer one another without ever competing.

The Madame Parking signature
Nicknamed Madame Parking for her emblematic interiors, Teresa Sapey stamps the Pau Hotel with her colourful, sculptural touch. In the heart of Barcelona, the hotel becomes proof that a bold design can turn an urban address into a sensory experience.
