On the roof of a Shanghai building, the terrace of the Christian Dior offices offers an open-air interlude of elegance. Designer furniture from the Spanish brand Vondom was chosen for its soft, clean lines, in an obvious dialogue with the aesthetic standards of the French house.
The project brings together creations by several designers: Eugeni Quitllet, Ramón Esteve, Archirivolto Design and Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. A dialogue of signatures in the service of a single refinement.

Outdoor furniture with minimalist lines
On this open-air terrace, the armchairs from the Africa collection and the Mari-Sol tables, both designed by Eugeni Quitllet, dominate the space. Their visual fluidity, born of clean, simple lines, creates a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
The Mari-Sol tables are accompanied by Kes chairs, designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. Radically simple yet comfortable, this piece is defined by its light, flowing lines, essential in form, refined in drawing.

A lounge space under the Vela canopy
The terrace has also been fitted with sun loungers from the Pezzettina collection, designed by Archirivolto Design, as well as side tables from the Vela collection by Ramón Esteve, sheltered under an elegant Vela canopy. Guests thus enjoy the natural surroundings in solutions that are both comfortable and modular.

A setting for prestige events
This space was designed for the luxury house's privileged clients and also serves as a backdrop for glamorous events. The Vela service bar finds its natural place here, adding a touch of warmth and a resolutely contemporary note to the whole.
Here, this designer furniture becomes the ultimate expression of beauty and elegance, just like Dior's own creations.

A design studio at the service of the workplace
The project was led by the studio IDA Workplace, whose ambition is to create flexible and more productive workspaces, turning the office into a true living space.
This creative studio designs solutions that maximise the use of space, from both an aesthetic and a functional point of view, while meeting the client's needs and offering great flexibility in the face of changes in the organisation.
A world of luxury and sophistication
Founded in 1946 by Christian Dior, the creator of dreams behind the New Look revolution, the house has since perpetuated a visionary spirit that appeals to women around the world. Now owned by the LVMH group, the French house shines from haute couture to ready-to-wear, from perfume to accessories.
This world of luxury unfolds in nearly one hundred and sixty boutiques around the globe, from a headquarters in Paris. The Shanghai terrace is one of its most refined extensions.

A timeless space
By choosing Vondom outdoor furniture for the terrace of its Shanghai office, Dior has bet on a space where time seems suspended. From this rooftop, visitors take in panoramic views of the Chinese metropolis, in the comfort and clean lines of designer furniture.
The result is a timeless place of natural harmony, born of the perfect dialogue between Vondom's avant-garde pieces and the standards of a house that has made elegance its signature.
