In Ra'anana, Israel, a company has turned the roof of its offices into a place to catch its breath. Adjoining the premises, this 900 m² rooftop is divided into two distinct zones: a public area, open to all the building's professionals, and a private area reserved for staff from other offices.
Vondom outdoor furniture creates a place to pause and talk, designed to give a genuine breather in the middle of the working day.

A pergola to soften the light
In the private area, a partially enclosed pergola with timber beams filters the sunlight. It marks out a space where staff can relax in the open air, sheltered from the heat, in an atmosphere that invites them to unwind.

Ulm and Stones chill-out furniture
This relaxation area has been furnished with several pieces that invite a pause. The armchair and sofa sets from the Ulm collection, designed by Ramón Esteve, sit alongside pieces from the Stones collection by Stefano Giovannoni, ideal for sitting, reading or letting new ideas take root.
Coffee, meetings and events
It is also a place to enjoy a coffee, comfortably seated on the stools from the Africa collection around a Frame table, contract furniture by Eugeni Quitllet and Ramón Esteve. The space also lends itself to informal meetings and corporate events, thanks to the minimalist chairs from the Kes collection, designed by the Buratti brothers, paired with the Jut table by Studio Vondom.

The roof as an extension of the office
By bringing rest, dining and meeting areas together on a single roof, this project widens the very idea of the workplace. Vondom furniture plays a key role: it turns a technical surface into a place to live, where people can take a breath, talk and recharge without ever leaving work.
