Africa bar stool: minimalist elegance by Eugeni Quitllet

On hotel terraces, beach club counters and restaurant bars furnished by Verano Design, the Africa bar stool embodies a clear philosophy: the most original thing is to be simple.

A piece by Eugeni Quitllet

Born in Ibiza in 1972 and trained at La Llotja school in Barcelona, Eugeni Quitllet designs every piece in the Africa collection as a natural extension of the body: soft, continuous curves, conceived for lasting comfort and a timeless style. The Africa bar stool carries this signature, designed to accompany moments shared with friends and family in complete simplicity.

Designed for heavy outdoor use

Injection moulded in glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, the Africa bar stool is UV-resistant and keeps its original colour season after season, even under prolonged direct sunlight. Its frost resistance means it can stay outdoors all year round without fear of harsh winters, while its light weight makes daily cleaning and rearranging the room during a rush easy. Stackable, it frees up storage space in the off season, a real advantage for venues that need to make the most of every square metre of storeroom. Its fire resistance, certified UNE EN 1021, IMO A.652 and UNI 9175, meets the safety requirements for premises open to the public, often a deciding factor when choosing contract furniture. Built for the intensive use typical of hotels, restaurants and cafés, a quick wipe with a sponge is enough to restore its shine. Available in a wide palette of colours, it matches the whole Vondom Africa collection, from the armchair to the modular sofa, for aesthetic continuity across all your outdoor spaces.
